What is a CDN and how does it work?
Our CDN (Content Delivery Network) run by CloudFlare enables your web traffic to be routed through their intelligent global network. Once the CloudFlare CDN is enabled on your domain, your website will automatically be optimized for the delivery of your web pages so your visitors get the fastest page load times and best performance. CloudFlare will also block threats and limit abusive bots and crawlers from wasting your bandwidth and server resources. The result is CloudFlare-powered websites see a significant improvement in performance and a decrease in spam and other attacks.
While all hosting accounts with Creative Pixels Media include fast optimized servers built to work seamlessly with WordPress and include many security protocols some high traffic sites have needs above that and require lightning fast server response times and features like… Global CDN, static content caching, IPv4/IPv6, Always Online, Rocket Loader, SPDY Support, Image Optimization, Mobile Optimization, Railgun, Threat Protection, Comment Spam Protection, Content Scraping Protection, Block by IP Range, Basic DDoS Protection, SSL Support as well as Instant Cache Purge.
